Lanzarote International Cup is an international youth football tournament held across the island of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, Spain. Its main feature is a mini World Cup format, in which teams move between pitches in seven municipalities on the island instead of staying in one place, and after the group stage teams continue in knockout rounds split into Gold and Silver. The 2027 tournament is the 4th edition and runs from June 16 to 20.

Lanzarote International Cup is an international youth football tournament held across the island of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, Spain. The 2027 tournament is the 4th edition and runs from June 16 to 20. 📅 Schedule The official dates are June 16 to 20, 2027. At the previous edition, the tournament ran as follows: · Day 1: team arrival, accreditation handout, transfer to accommodation · Day 2: opening parade and official opening ceremony, opening cocktail, start of matches · From day 3: matches 09:00–14:00 and 16:00–21:00 · Evening of day 4: official closing party · Last day: finals and medal ceremony in the morning, tournament ends at 3 pm 📍 Venue Instead of assigning each team to one ground, the tournament is played in a 'mini World Cup' format, with teams moving between pitches spread across seven municipalities on the island. Pitches in Yaiza, Tías (Puerto del Carmen), Arrecife (Altavista, Argana Alta, Ciudad Deportiva), San Bartolomé (Playa Honda), Tinajo, Haría and Teguise are used. The location of the first match is announced after the group draw, and from the second day locations depend on standings. ✈️ Airport transfers The island's gateway is César Manrique Airport. At the previous edition, a registration desk was set up in Terminal 1 of the airport for the first two days of the tournament to hand out accreditation. After that, accreditation could be collected at the tournament office in Arrecife. ⚽ Divisions There are three divisions, with different numbers of players per side. · U-10: 7-a-side · U-12: 7-a-side · U-14: 11-a-side 🏆 Teams The number of teams per division set out in the tournament rules is 36 for U-10, 48 for U-12 and 35 for U-14. ⏱ Format After the group stage, the top teams go into the Gold round and the rest into the Silver round to continue in knockout format. The Gold and Silver round finals are held at the same venue. · In U-10, 36 teams in 6 groups of 6 play 5 group matches; the top 16 teams go to the Gold round and the other 20 to the Silver round. · U-12 has 48 teams in 8 groups of 6, and U-14 has 35 teams in 7 groups of 5. · Two teams from the same group do not meet in the first knockout match. · Group stage, round of 16 and quarter-final matches are 45 minutes with two 20-minute halves; semi-finals, third-place matches and finals are 55 minutes with two 25-minute halves. · Up to 14 players can be registered per match, with unlimited substitutions. A player who receives a yellow card must stay off the pitch for 5 minutes and must be replaced by another player. A player who is sent off misses only that match. · Points: 3 for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss; ties are decided by goal difference, head-to-head result and fair play, in that order. 🏟 Organization Separately from team registration, the tournament requires players and coaches to use a package at 498 euros per person. Accompanying family members can buy wristbands to enjoy the tournament. · Gold wristband, 120 euros: all matches, opening cocktail, special dinner, closing party, entry to tourist attractions, restaurant and car rental discounts, welcome gift · Silver wristband, 80 euros: all matches, opening cocktail, closing party · Bronze wristband, 50 euros: all matches, closing party · The official accommodation package combines 4 nights full board in a 3–4 star hotel with a Gold wristband, at 565 euros per adult. · Match tickets are sold only at the on-site ticket office: day ticket 10 euros, afternoon ticket 5 euros, finals 6 euros. Proceeds go to support local clubs on Lanzarote. 🌊 About the area Lanzarote is an island in the Canary Islands known for its volcanic landscape. Each municipality has its own scenery, from Yaiza, home to Timanfaya National Park and the beaches of Playa Blanca, to Arrecife, the island's capital and port, and Haría in the north, known for its valley of palm trees. Distances on the island are short, so teams can see different parts of the island as they move between venues.

How to enter

Registration is accepted only on the official website. A place is confirmed only after registration, payment and confirmation by the organizers are all complete. 1️⃣ Register on the official website On the team registration page of the official website, enter the division (7-a-side U-10, 7-a-side U-12, 11-a-side U-14) and team name. 2️⃣ Pay the entry fee Pay by card or bank transfer. For a bank transfer, the reference must read 'registration + team name + division'. The payee is Player12 Global Sports, S.L. (Banco Santander). 3️⃣ Confirmation by the organizers Participation is officially confirmed only after all three steps — registration, payment and confirmation by the organizers — are complete. 4️⃣ Submit documents Send the documents and information requested by the organizers within the set deadline. Missing the deadline may delay your registration. 5️⃣ Book the player and coach package Participating players and coaches must use the package at 498 euros per person. Family members and companions book wristbands and accommodation packages separately. 💶 Fees and refunds · September 1 – December 31, 2026: 7-a-side 350 euros, 11-a-side 400 euros · January 1 – March 31, 2027: 7-a-side 400 euros, 11-a-side 450 euros · From April 1, 2027: 7-a-side 450 euros, 11-a-side 500 euros · The registration fee covers tournament entry, referees and match operations. · Player and coach package: 498 euros per person (mandatory) · If the organizers reject an application, the full amount paid is refunded within 48 hours. · If a team withdraws on its own, the place reservation fee is not refunded.
