The Sydney International Cup (SIC) is an invitation-only youth football tournament held in Sydney, Australia, between late September and early October, at the end of the season. The official website presents it as Australia's premier end-of-season invitational tournament; the 2026 edition is the 13th. International, national and regional teams play together, split into two competitions held at one venue: SIC11 (11-a-side) and SIC7 (7-a-side). 📅 Tournament dates The 2026 tournament is held in two periods. · SIC11 (11-a-side): three days, September 28–30; teams arrive on September 27 · SIC7 (7-a-side): four days, October 2–5 The SIC7 opening ceremony is held on Friday, October 2, and all participating teams must attend. 📍 Venue Both competitions are held at the Sydney Academy of Sport in Narrabeen. Accommodation, dining hall, natural and artificial grass training pitches, swimming pool, gym, team meeting rooms, laundry and bus parking are all on site, so matches, meals and lodging are in one place. ✈️ Airport transfers Transfers between the airport and the accommodation can be booked through the organizers. After you send the request form on the website, a staff member will contact you. Published rates are: · 1–2 people $140 · 3–4 people $170 · 5–9 people $230 ⚽ Divisions SIC11 has four divisions: boys' U14 and U16 and girls' U14 and U16. SIC7 has eight divisions: mixed U8, U9, U10, U11, U12 and U13, and girls' U10/11 and U12/13. Each division has a capacity of 48 teams for boys' and mixed divisions and 32 teams for girls' divisions. · Overage players: only in SIC7 mixed U8–U12 divisions, up to 2 players born on or after July 1 of the previous year · No overage players in SIC7 mixed U13 and girls' divisions, or in any SIC11 division · Each player may play for only one team during the tournament ⏱ Format All SIC7 divisions play 7 v 7, and all SIC11 divisions play 11 v 11. All teams play a group round-robin, then move on to Cup, Plate or Ranking matches based on results; SIC7 guarantees 7 matches per team. · Squad size: SIC7 minimum 10 players, SIC11 minimum 16 players (up to 4 additional players in both), plus 2 officials (coach and manager) 🏟 Organization Registration, fixtures and results are managed through Cup Manager, and physiotherapists working with PhysioXrehab are on site. Individual player injuries are not covered by tournament insurance, so each player is advised to arrange their own medical insurance. · Official accommodation: the SIC Team Village on site (dormitory-style lodges or Freshwater cabins), with three meals a day from dinner on arrival day to breakfast on departure day · Meals follow New South Wales healthy catering guidelines and accommodate dietary needs such as allergies · Luna Park tickets: children under 14 $35, adults $42, team package for 10 people $350

How to enter

The Sydney International Cup is an invitation-only tournament: teams must pre-register and be approved by the organizers before taking part. Team entry fees and player registration fees are non-refundable. 1. Pre-registration · Fill in the Register Now (Cup Manager) form on the official website with your club name, contact details and preferred division · Also state whether you have taken part in previous editions 2. Review by the organizers · An SIC representative will contact you to discuss your pre-registration · If your pre-registration is accepted, you move on to invitation confirmation 3. Team entry fee · To confirm the invitation, pay the non-refundable team entry fee of $300 · The team entry fee includes registration of 2 officials (1 coach, 1 manager) 4. Player registration fees · SIC7: $200 per player, minimum 10 players; up to 4 additional players at $230 each · SIC11: $156 per player, minimum 16 players; up to 4 additional players at $175 each · Payment is made by credit card in your Cup Manager account by the deadline; only teams that have paid in full are fully registered 5. Player list and documents · Enter each player's name, date of birth, unique shirt number, proof of age (association player card, passport, birth certificate, etc.) and photo in Cup Manager · Under the official terms, the player registration deadline is August 15, 2026 6.
