Advertising and refund policy

Article 1 (Scope)

This policy applies to the ordering, payment, publication and refund of advertising products that ReferenceInstitute Corp. (the "Company") sells to businesses on Stoveleagues (stoveleagues.com). Anything not covered here follows the Stoveleagues Terms of Use.

Article 2 (Advertising products)

  1. An advertising product is the use of an ad position on the site (banners CHAMPION, CAPTAIN, PLAYMAKER, STRIKER, WINGER, KEEPER; cards W, L and Jump-up) for a fixed period (in months or weeks).
  2. The location of each position and the price for each period are shown before ordering.
  3. Only one ad runs in the same banner position for the same period. Periods already paid for or awaiting payment are shown and cannot be ordered.
  4. The Company does not guarantee any advertising results such as views, clicks or enquiries.

Article 3 (Ordering and payment)

  1. Advertisers supply a finished banner image and a link. The Company does not design banners.
  2. Payment is made in advance for the whole period, in one payment. There is no deferred payment or credit.
  3. International advertisers (EUR or USD) pay by international bank transfer according to an English invoice sent by the Company. The invoice states the amount, the bank details and the payment due date (14 days after issue unless stated otherwise). Bank charges are paid by the sender (OUR).   4. Korean advertisers (KRW) pay by bank deposit to the Company's Korean account, following the instructions shown when ordering. Unpaid orders are cancelled automatically after the deposit deadline.
  5. The contracting party is ReferenceInstitute Corp., a company registered in the Republic of Korea.

Article 4 (Review and publication)

  1. Once payment is confirmed, the Company reviews the banner and link, which usually takes 1-2 business days.
  2. Requests are sent from the advertising form in My space (start date at least 7 days ahead). The Company then emails the invoice; nothing is due until you receive it.
  3. If payment confirmation or review finishes after your chosen start date, we move the start and end dates back by the same number of days, so you keep the full period. We tell you the new dates by email. If the placement is already booked for the moved dates, we agree another period with you or refund in full.
  4. The Company does not publish ads that break the law, are unsuitable for minors (gambling, adult content, alcohol, tobacco, etc.), are false or exaggerated, promise player selection, scouting or club signings, infringe the rights of others, or link to malicious or deceptive pages.
  5. All ads are labelled "AD" (or "광고" in Korean).
  6. When the site design changes, ad positions may move to a similar place and size.
  7. The advertiser is responsible for the content of the ad. If a problem is found while it runs, the Company removes the ad and informs the advertiser.

Article 5 (Cancellation and refunds)

  1. Before payment: you can cancel at any time.
  2. Before the ad starts: if you ask to cancel, we refund the full amount paid. We also refund in full if we decide not to publish the ad after review.
  3. After the ad has started: no refund is given if you stop for your own reasons.
  4. If the ad is not visible for a day or more because of the Company (for example a site outage), we extend the period by those days or refund that part pro rata.
  5. No refund is given if an ad is removed after publication for a reason listed in Article 4(2).
  6. Refunds are returned to the account you paid from. For international transfers this may take time depending on the banks.

In short: If you cancel before the ad starts, we return the full amount to the account you paid from. Once the ad has started, no refund is given if you stop for your own reasons.
