Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the website stoveleagues.com and related services (the "Service") operated by Stoveleagues ("Stoveleagues"), and the rights and obligations of Stoveleagues and its members.
Article 2 (Nature of the Service)
- Stoveleagues collects and presents information about youth football tournaments and camps abroad, and provides a space where members can record and share their own and their children's tournament experiences.
- Stoveleagues provides information and a space only. Registering for tournaments or camps, paying entry fees, booking travel and similar matters are handled by users directly with organizers and the relevant businesses. Stoveleagues does not act on users' behalf in these matters and is not a party to those contracts.
- Tournament and camp information is compiled from organizers' public materials, and dates, costs and conditions may change. Please always check the organizer's official information before taking part.
- Stoveleagues does not promise or arrange player selection, scouting or signing with a club.
Article 3 (Sign-up and member types)
- Members sign up with an email address. Sign-up is complete once the confirmation email has been confirmed.
- The member types are "parent or legal guardian" and "business (tournament organizer, club, advertiser, etc.)". Members cannot change their member type themselves after sign-up; to change it, they must make a request to Stoveleagues.
- Persons under 14 cannot sign up as members. Information about a child under 14 is registered and managed only by a parent or legal guardian member under that member's own account.
- Members must not sign up with false information or use another person's email address or name.
Article 4 (Child profiles and the responsibility of parents or legal guardians)
This Article and Article 5 apply when Stoveleagues provides the child profile and record features.
- Child profiles are created and managed by parent or legal guardian members. As the child's legal representative, the parent or legal guardian confirms that they have the authority to consent to the registration and publication of the child's information.
- A child's contact details cannot be registered in a child profile, and the Service has no feature that lets outside persons contact a child directly.
- A child's information is not public by default; only what the parent or legal guardian chooses to make public is published. The parent or legal guardian may withdraw publication or delete the information at any time.
Article 5 (Records posted by members)
- Rights to the tournament participation records, short texts and other content posted by members (the "Records") remain with the member. The member permits Stoveleagues to display Records within the Service and to use them to introduce the Service (limited to Records the member has chosen to make public).
- Stoveleagues may publish public Records after checking their facts, and may decline to publish or may remove Records that are untrue or that breach Article 6 below.
- Members may edit or delete their own Records at any time.
Article 5-2 (Club pages)
- Club and academy business members may create a club page, which is published after Stoveleagues checks it. Club information must be accurate.
- When a parent or legal guardian requests to link their child to a club, the club can see only the child's display name and position. The club must not use this information for any purpose other than confirming the link, and must not contact the child directly.
Article 6 (Prohibited conduct)
- Collecting other members' or children's information without permission, or attempting to contact a child
- Posting untrue Records or impersonating another person
- Abusive language, discrimination, harassment, or content harmful to minors
- Unauthorized advertising or solicitation, or collecting the Service in bulk by automated means
- Any other conduct that violates the law or these Terms
Stoveleagues may remove Records of, restrict the use of, or terminate the membership of a member who engages in prohibited conduct.
Article 7 (Paid services)
- Member services are currently free. As a principle, they will continue to be provided free of charge to general members (parents or legal guardians).
- When Stoveleagues starts paid services for business members, such as advertising and exposure products, it will add the product details, prices, payment and refund rules to these Terms and give notice in advance.
Article 8 (Leaving the Service)
Members may close their account at any time from My Space (DEN). Closing an account deletes the member information, child profiles, Records and consent records, and this cannot be undone. However, information that must be retained by law is kept separately for the required period.
Article 9 (Changes to and suspension of the Service)
Stoveleagues may change the content of the Service or pause it temporarily for maintenance, outages and similar reasons, and will give advance notice of important changes.
Article 10 (Limitation of liability)
- Stoveleagues is not responsible for transactions, contracts or safety between users and tournament or camp organizers, travel agencies and similar parties.
- Unless it acts intentionally or with gross negligence, Stoveleagues is not liable for damages arising in connection with the use of services provided free of charge.
Article 11 (Changes to these Terms)
When these Terms are changed, the effective date and the changes will be announced on the Service from 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes unfavorable to members).
Article 12 (Governing law and jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes relating to the Service will be resolved by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. However, users living in the European Union (EU) or elsewhere have the rights granted by the consumer protection laws of their country of residence.
