Since 2021, the KHS Cup has run separate weekend tournaments for each age group throughout the season, with academies of professional clubs from Europe and North America taking part alongside local Maltese clubs.

The KHS Cup is a Maltese international youth competition that started in 2021 and holds separate age-group tournaments, from U8 to U16, on weekends during the season. The organizers present it as a tournament for elite academies from many countries, and have announced confirmed clubs for the 2026/27 season including Liverpool, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, AS Monaco, Newcastle United, Sporting CP, Benfica, Atlético de Madrid, Aston Villa, Olympiacos, AZ Alkmaar, Lazio and Parma. 📅 Schedule · The 2026 U14 tournament runs over two days, from Saturday 28 to Sunday 29 November. · In the same season, U15 (12–13 December 2026), U16 girls (23–24 January 2027), U11, U12, U10, U13, U8 and U9 tournaments are held separately, one after another. 📍 Venue · Matches are played at the Mġarr United ground and the Sirens ground in Malta. · The Mġarr United ground is a full-size pitch with changing rooms and spectator stands. 🏆 Teams · Newcastle United (England) won the U14 tournament held in March 2026.
