Youth clubs from across Spain take part, and the programme combines training and sightseeing, making use of the seaside location. 📅 Dates The previous edition in 2026 ran for four days, from March 29 to April 1. The dates of the 2027 edition have not yet been posted on the official website, so the information below is based on the 2026 edition. Clubs came from many regions of Spain, including Navarre, La Rioja, Madrid, the Basque Country, Catalonia, Valencia, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura and Andalusia. Clubs presented as participants included Atlético de Madrid, Alameda de Osuna, Candor CF, CD Mijas, Inter de Marbella and others. ⏱ Format Each division plays a preliminary round and then splits into finals for the Copa de Oro (Gold Cup) and the Copa de Plata (Silver Cup). In the previous edition, more than 60 matches were played across three grounds. 🏟 Organisation The organiser is ESEI Events. In addition to matches, the programme includes friendlies with local youth teams, a 2-hour clinic led by coaches from local clubs, and sightseeing for families and companions. In the previous edition, more than 2,500 people, including families and spectators, attended the grounds. 🌊 About the area The Costa del Sol is one of Spain's well-known holiday coasts, with mild weather even in spring. Between matches there is time to relax on the beach and enjoy the local food.

The Sun ESEI Cup takes pre-registrations through the official website of the organiser, ESEI Events. As the dates of the next edition have not yet been announced, teams considering taking part should first contact the organisers to confirm dates and conditions. 1.
