SingaCup is an international youth football tournament held in Singapore every year in early November. After its first edition in 2011 with 12 teams from the Philippines, Australia, India and Singapore, it has continued steadily, holding its 14th edition in 2024 and its 15th in 2025; in 2014, demand was high enough for registration to close early. The organizer describes football as a language that connects people across borders and cultures, and aims to help promising young players in Asia prove themselves on a competitive stage. 📅 Dates · The 2026 tournament runs for eight days, from 31 October to 7 November. 📍 Venues · All matches are played on outdoor natural grass or artificial turf pitches, with separate procedures for lightning warnings and rules for rain stoppages. · The 2026 venues have not yet been announced. · The seven venues of the previous edition were: · Choa Chu Kang Stadium (1 Choa Chu Kang St 53, 689236) · The Rainforest Sports Hub (25A West Coast Highway, 119072) · The Arena Woodleigh (48 Woodleigh Prk, 357844) · Bukit Gombak Stadium (800 Bukit Batok West Ave 5, 659081) · Bedok Stadium (1 Bedok North St 2, 469642) · Boon Lay Secondary School (11 Jurong West St 65, 648354) · Lion City Sailors Training Centre (8 Mattar Road, 387727) ⚽ Categories The 2026 categories are as follows; there is no adult category. · Boys: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 · Girls: GU12, GU14, GU16 (GU12 is new in 2026) · A 5-a-side para football category (Para Junior and Para Senior) is held as part of the tournament. · Overage players: boys' teams may include up to 3 players born in December of the previous year; girls' teams up to 3 players one year older. 🏆 Teams · According to the organizer, over 160 teams from over 13 countries take part. · Countries at the previous edition were Australia, Guam, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand, with more than 25 teams from India alone. ⏱ Format · Every team is guaranteed at least 4 matches. · Boys' U8 and U10 are 7-a-side on 40-50m x 25-30m pitches, two halves of 12 minutes with a 3-minute half-time, and squads of 9 to 12 players. · U12 and girls' U12 are 9-a-side on 50-60m x 35-45m pitches, two halves of 20 minutes with a 5-minute half-time. · Boys' and girls' U14 and U16 are 11-a-side on 80-100m x 50-60m pitches, two halves of 25 minutes with a 5-minute half-time, and squads of 13 to 18 players. · The group stage is a league with 3-1-0 points; playoffs and finals are single matches, and draws are decided by a 3-player penalty shootout. · A size 5 ball is used, size 4 for U12 and below, and shin guards are mandatory. 🏟 Organization · The organizer is Dynamique Konzepts Pte Ltd. · Entry fees and accommodation packages are not published on the official website and are provided individually on inquiry. · Participants from countries without a health insurance agreement with Singapore must arrange personal insurance, and the organizer is not responsible for injuries or loss. · The SingaCup Boots Donation Drive collects used football boots and passes them on to low-income football communities in Southeast Asia. · Ikhsan Fandi Ahmad, U14 MVP in 2011, joined Raufoss IL in Norway in 2019, becoming the first Singaporean player in 30 years to play in Europe; the U18 MVP in 2012 joined training with Schalke 04; and another former player became a Philippines youth international. · At the previous edition, Ricardinho, six-time world futsal player of the year, took part as a guest mentor. 🌊 About the area · Families who came to the previous edition visited places such as Sentosa, Universal Studios, Marina Bay and Gardens by the Bay.
How to enter
Registration starts with an expression of interest through the registration form on the official website, followed by formal registration according to the organizer's instructions. Entry fees and registration deadlines are not published on the official website. 1. Register interest using the registration form on the official website by entering email, contact name, phone number, team/academy/school name, country and preferred age category. Inquiries can also be sent directly to enquiry@singacup.com. 2. This form is a preliminary registration; participation is confirmed in the subsequent formal registration process. 3. Entry fees and accommodation packages are provided individually by the organizer, so contact them to confirm. 4. Submit the player list to the tournament office before the first match. 5. All players must verify their identity and age with a valid passport. 6.
