Clubs and professional club academy teams from more than 20 countries are expected to take part. 📅 Dates · 1-5 April 2027 📍 Venue · The tournament is held at JA Sports and Shooting Club in Jebel Ali, Dubai. · Final venue details will be confirmed and announced closer to the tournament. ✈️ Airport transfers · Airport transfers may be provided depending on the package the team chooses; details are given during registration. ⚽ Categories · Boys U12 (born 2015 or later) plays 9-a-side. · Boys U13 (born 2014 or later), U14 (born 2013 or later), U15 (born 2012 or later) and U16 (born 2011 or later) play 11-a-side. · Final eligibility rules will be confirmed and announced in the tournament rulebook. 🏆 Teams · Teams from more than 20 countries are expected to take part (according to the organizers). ⏱ Match format · A group stage is followed by a knockout stage to decide the winners. · The final format depends on the number of confirmed teams in each category. · Every team is guaranteed a minimum number of matches; the exact number will be announced once the tournament structure is confirmed. 🏟 Organization · The tournament is run by CB Football Management. · Academies from the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf region earn places in the main tournament through the GCC Mina Cup qualifiers. · International clubs and professional club academies from outside the United Arab Emirates submit an application and are confirmed after review. · Accommodation is arranged through the organizers, and the official hotels will be announced once confirmed. · Parents and spectators can attend matches, and viewing information will be announced closer to the tournament. · Some matches are expected to be filmed and broadcast. · The tournament is run by CB Football Management, founded in 2021 by a former Crewe Alexandra (England) player, and the first edition was held in April 2022. The tournament rules list the organizing body as CB Football Tournament Organizing Services. · The organizers state that teams from more than 30 countries have taken part so far. · Academy teams from clubs such as Liverpool FC, FC Barcelona, Manchester City, Rangers, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Newcastle United, Corinthians, Columbus Crew, Chicago Fire, New York Red Bulls, Melbourne City, Mumbai City, Pumas UNAM, Sturm Graz and Yokohama FC have taken part in past editions. · The same organizers also run the girls' tournament Mina Girls (March, U13 and U15), Mini Mina for U8-U11, Mina Cup Futsal, Mina Cup UK at St George's Park in England, and the Gulf qualifier GCC Mina Cup Qualifier. · The organizers highlight FIFA-standard grass pitches and refereeing, and a Dubai sightseeing program is also offered during the tournament.
How to enter
The Mina Cup confirms participating teams in five steps. Submitting an application does not guarantee a place; applications are reviewed by the organizers. 1. Team enquiry Fill in your academy and team details in the application form on the official website and submit it. 2. Application review The organizers review the category, the team's level and the places remaining in each category. 3. Registration and payment If your application is accepted, complete registration and pay the entry fee to secure your place. The amount is not published on the official website, so please check with the organizers. 4. Support information You receive information covering tournament operations, accommodation and transport. 5. Confirmation With final confirmation, you receive the match schedule and tournament details. Academies from the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf region reach the main tournament through the GCC Mina Cup qualifiers instead of the steps above. Rosters can include up to 18 players for 11-a-side and 16 players for 9-a-side. The entry fee is not published and is provided after the application review.
