It is run by Torneos CUP, based in Córdoba, Argentina, and the 10th edition takes place in January 2027. There are separate 11-a-side and 7-a-side competitions, plus a girls' competition. 📅 Dates · Five days, from January 26 to January 30, 2027. · The previous (9th) edition took place from January 27 to 31, 2026. 📍 Venue Matches are spread across several grounds in the city of Osorno, Los Lagos Region, Chile. 11-a-side and 7-a-side matches are played at separate grounds, and the organizers announce ground assignments and kick-off times before the tournament. ⚽ Categories · 11-a-side boys: born 2009/10, 2011/12, 2013/14 · 11-a-side girls: Sub 17 (born 2010/11/12) · 7-a-side boys: born 2015, born 2016, born 2017/2018 🏆 Teams The official group draw for the 9th edition (2026) listed 73 teams from 38 clubs across the categories. From Chile, clubs came from Osorno, Puerto Montt, Entre Lagos, Paillaco and San Pablo; from Argentina, clubs travelled from Santa Fe, Córdoba, Chubut and Río Negro. ⏱ Format · 7-a-side squads have up to 12 players, with unlimited substitutions. · 11-a-side squads have 18 players; teams travelling from other regions and staying overnight may register extra players to cover injuries. · In 11-a-side, up to 7 substitutions are allowed per match. · Matches follow the rules of the Chilean professional football association (ANFP) and FIFA. 🏟 Organization · Player registration is checked on the first day, and printed match lists must be submitted at least one hour before the category's first match. · All players must have an identity document and a health record document. · Registered players wear an identification wristband throughout the tournament. · Grounds have spectator insurance, emergency staff and a first-aid area. · Teams arrange their own transport between accommodation and grounds, or may use a provider recommended by the organizers. · Awards are the Gold Cup, Silver Cup, Bronze Cup and Fair Play Cup; the Fair Play Cup winner in each category receives free registration for the next Torneos CUP tournament. 🌊 About the area Osorno is a main city of Los Lagos Region in southern Chile, in an area of lakes and volcanoes. January is midsummer in the Southern Hemisphere, a suitable time for outdoor matches. The 2026 edition had 73 teams from 2 countries. 2027 is the 10th edition.

How to enter

Entries for the Osorno Cup are handled directly by the organizer, Torneos CUP. Teams from abroad can also enter. The process is as follows. 1. Contact the organizer by email at info@torneoscup.com or WhatsApp (+54 9 351 539-1526) with your interest and preferred category. 2. Check the squad limits and entry conditions for each category given by the organizer, then submit your team list. The standard squad is up to 12 players for 7-a-side and 18 for 11-a-side. 3. Prepare an identity document and a health record document for every player. Players whose documents are not verified cannot play. 4. Teams needing accommodation book the lodging recommended by the organizer. Teams arrange their own transport between accommodation and grounds. 5. On the first day, registration is checked and identification wristbands are issued.
