It is organized by local club Eskilsminne IF, and the previous, 2026 tournament had more than 1,150 teams. Eskilscupen is an international youth football tournament in Helsingborg, Sweden. Local club Eskilsminne IF started it in 1968 to celebrate its 40th anniversary, with 28 teams in two divisions, and it is now counted among the oldest football cup tournaments in Sweden. The 2027 tournament runs for four days, from Thursday, August 5 to Sunday, August 8. 📅 Schedule · The 2027 tournament runs for four days, from Thursday, August 5 to Sunday, August 8. · Applications for the 2027 tournament open on Friday, September 25 at 9:00 am. · The application deadline is May 15; divisions close earlier if they fill up, and a waiting list is kept. 📍 Venue · Matches are spread across pitches throughout Helsingborg in southern Sweden. · Accommodation options are school accommodation arranged by the tournament or partner hotels in central Helsingborg. · The organizer's address is Gärdesgatan 4, 256 56 Helsingborg, Sweden. ⚽ Divisions · Boys' and girls' divisions run by birth year from P7/F7 to P17/F17. · P17/F17 is for players born in 2010, P16/F16 in 2011 and P15/F15 in 2012, all 11v11. · P14/F14 is for players born in 2013 and P13/F13 in 2014, both 9v9. · P12/F12 is for players born in 2015, with separate ranked and unranked divisions. · P11/F11 is for players born in 2016 and P10/F10 in 2017; together with P12/F12 these are 7v7. · P9/F9 is for players born in 2018 and P8/F8 in 2019, played 5v5; P7/F7 is for players born in 2020, played 3v3. 🏆 Teams · The previous, 2026 tournament had more than 1,150 teams over four days, playing more than 3,500 matches at 19 venues. · The tournament passed 1,000 teams for the first time in 2024. · In 2026, teams came from six other countries: Norway, Denmark, Finland, Kosovo, Morocco and Spain. ⏱ Match format · 9v9 and 11v11 matches are 2 x 20 minutes, 7v7 matches 2 x 15 minutes, and 3v3 and 5v5 matches 2 x 12 minutes. · Divisions for age 12 and over are split into four knockout tournaments, A, B, C and D, and teams reaching each final receive trophies and medals. · In the A tournament, the third-placed team also receives a trophy and medals. · In the unranked divisions for ages 7 to 12, every participant receives a medal. · Prizes are presented at each venue right after the finals. · The tournament is approved by the Skåne Football Association and the Swedish Football Association, and referees come from referee clubs across the country, mainly in Skåne. 🌊 About the area · Helsingborg is a city in southern Sweden on the Øresund strait. · The tournament was named Sweden's Event of the Year in 2007. 🏟 Organization · The entry fee is SEK 1,600 per team for 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 for teams in school accommodation and for hotel teams buying school meals through the tournament. · Teams not staying overnight or arranging their own food and accommodation pay SEK 1,895 per team for 11v11 and 9v9, and SEK 1,695 for 7v7. · The 3v3 and 5v5 mini cup costs SEK 900 per team. · Participants using school accommodation and meals, including coaches, pay an additional SEK 1,785 per person, which covers accommodation in school sports halls from Thursday to Sunday and 8 meals in total: 3 on Friday, 3 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. · The entry fee and participant fees must be paid by May 15. · The entry fee is not refunded if the team withdraws; accommodation fees are refunded only for cancellations before June 1, after which a medical certificate must be submitted. · Extra services include a return shuttle between Helsingborg Central Station and the port for SEK 1,200 per team, and a city bus pass for SEK 150 per person. · Extra meals cost SEK 55 for breakfast and SEK 100 each for lunch and dinner, and an extra night costs SEK 155.

How to enter

Taking part in Eskilscupen starts with a team application on the official website. Please follow the steps below. 1. Applications for the 2027 tournament open on Friday, September 25 at 9:00 am. Divisions have limited places and may close early. 2. Apply on the official website and choose the type of accommodation, school or hotel, at the same time. 3. Once the application is approved, an invoice is sent by email; the entry fee and participant fees must be paid by May 15. 4. Register the number of players and coaches staying overnight in the team's own login. 5. In the same login, enter the arrival time and special diets, and book extra services such as shuttles and additional meals. 6.
