Teams of civil servants and public employees from around the world, such as police, fire services, customs and the military, compete mainly in 5-a-side, with 35+, 45+, women's and 7-a-side categories also on offer. The Mallorca Government Cup is an amateur football tournament exclusively for public sector employees, held in Santa Ponsa in the municipality of Calvià on the island of Mallorca, Spain. It is open to teams of civil servants and public employees from around the world. 📅 Dates · The 2027 edition runs from 6 to 10 May. · The registration deadline is 31 March 2027. To register after the deadline, contact the organizers directly. 📍 Venue · The tournament takes place in the resort of Santa Ponsa in Calvià, Mallorca. · Matches are played on artificial turf pitches with changing rooms on site. ✈️ Airport transfer · The drive from Palma de Mallorca Son Sant Joan Airport to Santa Ponsa takes about 25–30 minutes. · Organizing staff meet teams at the COMAS transfer desk inside Arrivals Hall B, Gate 1. · Return airport transfers are included in all package prices. For the return flight, the transfer vehicle arrives at the hotel 3 hours before departure. ⚽ Categories · Men / Men 35+ / Men 45+ / Women · Non-football groups (tourist participation) / 7-a-side category · In the 35+ category all players must be 35 or older, with up to two players aged 30 or older allowed. In the 45+ category all players must be 45 or older, with up to two players aged 40 or older allowed. Referees and organizers may ask to check ID. ⏱ Match format · 5-a-side matches are played with 4 outfield players and 1 goalkeeper. · Substitutions are unlimited; the incoming player enters from their team's substitution zone after the outgoing player has fully crossed the touchline. · Matches have no half-time break, including Sunday's knockout matches and final. · The team representative must submit the player list at the organizers' office at least 30 minutes before the first match. A team not present 5 minutes before kick-off loses 0-3. 🏟 Organization · The tournament is run by Engels Tec., based in Germany, under the Mallorca Football Tournament brand. · Eligible are police, fire services, customs, military, tax authorities, interior ministry staff, employees of national, state and local governments and of ministries, as well as teams specially invited by the organizers.

How to enter

Registration for the Mallorca Government Cup is done through the online registration form on the official website. Because entry is limited to public sector employees, proof of identity is required. 1. On the Registration page of the official website, select your category and the tournament dates (6–10 May 2027). 2. Enter the team and contact person details, and submit the signature of the person in charge together with proof of identity. 3. Accept the terms and submit the registration. 4. Pay the team entry fee of 240 euros by bank transfer. 5. Book accommodation separately from the official list of hotels and apartments; the rate sheet can be downloaded from the website. 6.
