Pyrenees Cup is an international youth summer football tournament that started in 2000 and holds its 27th edition in 2027. Centred on Cerdanya and Alt Urgell in Catalonia, Spain, it extends across three countries, including Pyrénées-Orientales in France and Andorra. It is organized by Associació Esportiva Pirineus and approved by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and the Catalan Football Federation (FCF). 📅 Schedule · The tournament runs for four days, from June 24 to June 27, 2027. 📍 Venues · Matches are spread across 24 pitches in Lleida and Girona (Spain), Pyrénées-Orientales (France) and Andorra. · The main host locations are Llívia, Alp and Encamp. · On the Spanish side, venues include Estadi Municipal Emili Vicente in La Seu d'Urgell, the Puigcerdà CF ground, Bellver de Cerdanya and La Molina. · On the French side, venues are the municipal grounds of Bourg-Madame, Osséja, Bolquère and Font-Romeu. · In Andorra, venues are the Andorran Football Federation (FAF) training centre, the Ordino sports technical centre and the Prada de Moles ground in Encamp. ⚽ Divisions · 7-a-side: boys B8, B9, B10, B11 and B12 (born 2020–2015) and girls G12 (born 2015–2016) and G14 (born 2013–2014). · 11-a-side: boys B13, B14, B15 and B16 (born 2014–2011) and B19 (born 2008–2010), and girls G16 (born 2011–2012) and G19 (born 2008–2010). · In B13–B16 and G12, G14, G16 and G19, teams may register up to 2 players one year above the age limit. 🏆 Teams · In the previous edition, 363 teams took part, playing more than 1,000 matches, with more than 6,000 players. · Participating teams listed on the official website include RCD Espanyol, Rayo Vallecano, Girona FC, CA River Plate, Stevenage FC, Vitória SC and Madrid CFF. · Over the past 25 years, well-known European clubs such as FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid, Villarreal, Liverpool FC, FC Porto, Sporting CP and SL Benfica have taken part. · The Hall of Fame lists players who went on to professional football after this tournament, including Marco Asensio, Marc Bartra, Aleix Vidal and Kiko Casilla. ⏱ Format · In 7-a-side, B8–B10 play two halves of 12 minutes each and B11, B12, G12 and G14 play two halves of 15 minutes each; in 11-a-side, all divisions play two halves of 20 minutes each. · There is no extra time, and a 5-minute break is given for moving between pitches. · All registered players may play, and there is no limit on substitutions. · A sending-off for two yellow cards or accumulated cautions does not lead to a suspension for the next match; only a direct red card results in a one-match suspension. · Matches go ahead in rain. 🏟 Organization · Matches follow IFAB rules. · All players must prove their age on arrival with an original identity card or federation registration card. · All participating players are covered by sports accident insurance, including medical support for injuries and accidents during matches. Travel insurance is not included. · Packages combining team reception, sightseeing and accommodation are offered alongside custom plans. 🌊 About the Area · Cerdanya, where the tournament is held, is a high plateau basin in the eastern Pyrenees that spans the border between Spain and France and connects to Andorra. Its cool mountain climate, even in summer, provides good playing conditions and makes it easy to add mountain sightseeing to the schedule.

How to enter

Registration for Pyrenees Cup is handled on the registration page of the official website. Registering is treated as agreeing to the full tournament rules. 1. Enter the team details and division on the registration page of the official website to apply. 2. Choose the 7-a-side or 11-a-side division that matches the players' birth years. 3. Choose between a package including accommodation, meals, team reception and sightseeing, or a custom plan suited to the team. 4. Registration begins once the application is submitted and a deposit of 1,000 euros per team is paid. The deposit is deducted from the final entry fee. 5. Costs vary by division and chosen package, and can be checked on the prices page of the official website and in the information brochure (PDF brochure). According to the organizer's official 2027 information, registration only without accommodation is 145 euros per player; with accommodation, 3 nights cost 330 euros (hotel), 315 euros (camping) or 295 euros (hostel), and 2 nights cost 285 euros (hotel), 275 euros (camping) or 260 euros (hostel) (full board). 6. One coach per team has been free, and a 50% discount has applied to the second coach. 7. The remaining entry fee is paid before June 1 of the tournament year. 8. Cancellations before April 15 receive a full refund, before May 15 a 50% refund, and no refund after that. Amounts and deadlines may change from edition to edition, so check the prices page before applying. 9. Players must prove their age on arrival with an original identity card or federation registration card. Players who cannot do so cannot be registered for the tournament. 10.
