The Paris World Games is an international youth sports event held in Paris, France, and the surrounding area, covering four sports including football. It was created in 2015 by volunteers from a Paris football club and now uses around 40 venues in and around Paris. Its program for enjoying Paris, including an opening ceremony on a Bateaux Mouches river cruise and a free day for each team, is a distinctive feature.

The Paris World Games is an international youth sports event held in Paris, France, and the surrounding area. It includes four sports—football, basketball, handball and rugby sevens—and the football tournament is for players aged 10 to 19. It was created in 2015 by volunteers from the Paris football club Paris Pitray-Olier and is now run by Paris World Games SAS. 📅 Tournament dates · Football runs for six days, from 5 to 10 July 2027. · In the same year, handball takes place from 5 to 10 July, the same dates as football, while basketball and rugby sevens take place from 26 to 27 June. · During the tournament week, each team has a free day (Day-Off) to explore Paris. 📍 Venues · The event uses around 40 venues in Paris and the surrounding area. · Football alone is played on more than 20 pitches. · All venues are in the Paris area and can be reached by bus, metro and tram. · Some venues host several sports. ✈️ Airport transfers · Public transport in the Paris region is free to use during the tournament. · Transfers from Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports to the accommodation are optional and available at a reduced rate. Requests must be made directly to the organizers. ⚽ Categories · Boys 11-a-side — U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, U18 · Boys 8-a-side — U10, U11, U12 · Girls 11-a-side — WU14, WU16, WU19 · Girls may play in the boys' category one year younger. For example, a G12 player may play in the B11 category. ⏱ Match format · Younger age groups play 8-a-side and older age groups 11-a-side. · Football matches are officiated by certified referees from around the world. · Teams must be clubs or academies belonging to a FIFA-recognized national association; in countries where school teams can play in official competitions, teams belonging to a school sports federation may also take part. · All players and accompanying team leaders must have insurance valid at the venues and liability insurance. 🏟 Tournament operations · The event is run by Paris World Games SAS, based in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. · The opening ceremony takes place on board a Bateaux Mouches river cruise past major Paris landmarks, with teams carrying the flags of their country and club. · Meals are provided throughout the day: breakfast is delivered to the hotel, lunch is served at the venues, and dinner at the hotel or a restaurant. · The entry fee is paid in euros by bank transfer to the organizers' account, and the transfer must be made by the club itself. · The organizers also help book accommodation for families and fans travelling with the players. 🌊 About the area Sightseeing in Paris and the surrounding area is arranged for the free day, so teams can explore the city and enjoy special activities between matches.

How to enter

Registration for the Paris World Games is done per team on the official registration portal, where you first choose the sport. 1. Go to the official registration portal (parisworldgames.cups.nu) and select football as the sport. 2. Choose your team's category. For boys, U10, U11 and U12 play 8-a-side and U13 to U18 play 11-a-side; for girls, WU14, WU16 and WU19 play 11-a-side. 3. Enter your team details and submit the registration. 4. Choose a participation package including accommodation, meals and transport. Ask the organizers for prices. 5. The entry fee is paid in euros by bank transfer to the organizers' account, and the transfer must be made by the club itself. 6. Make sure all players are members of a FIFA-affiliated association or a school sports federation, and arrange accident and liability insurance. 7.
