About the tournament

SOCCACUP Lake Garda is an international youth football tournament held every year over the Easter weekend in Sirmione, on the southern shore of Lake Garda in northern Italy. Seven boys' categories from U10 to U17 are played, with clubs from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and other countries. A distinctive feature is that it is run as a participation package combining accommodation and meals.

It is organized by SOCCATOURS, based in Winterthur, Switzerland, which also runs SOCCACUP events in Rovinj, Croatia, and Izola, Slovenia. Seven boys' categories from U10 to U17 are played, and registration is taken as a participation package combining accommodation and meals. 📅 Schedule · The 2027 edition runs from Friday 26 March to Monday 29 March. · Friday includes check-in, entry to the Movieland theme park, the opening ceremony and the coaches' meeting. · The group stage starts on Saturday; on Sunday the group stage ends, followed by the knockout rounds and the awards ceremony. · Check-out is on Monday, and the stay can be extended to Tuesday. · The tournament is timed to the Easter weekend: the 2026 edition was held from 3 to 6 April and the 2025 edition from 18 to 21 April. 📍 Venue · The main ground is a stadium in Sirmione with both natural and artificial grass pitches. · The organizers use more than 30 partner grounds around Lake Garda, and designated grounds are assigned to each category from U10 to U15. ⚽ Categories · U10: born 2017 and 2018, 6+1 players · U11: born 2016 and 2017, 6+1 players · U12: born 2015 and 2016, 8+1 players · U13: born 2014 and 2015, 8+1 players · U14: born 2013 and 2014, 10+1 players · U15: born 2012 and 2013, 10+1 players · U17: born 2010 and 2011, 10+1 players 🏆 Participating teams · The 2026 edition was played in five categories (U10/U11, U12, U13, U14, U15). The category winners were Red Star Penzing (Austria), a Swiss club (U12 and U13), SV Wacker Burghausen (Germany) and an Italian club. 🏟 Organization · The participation package includes tournament entry with guaranteed playing time, the coaches' meeting, the opening ceremony, on-site medical support, player souvenirs, awards ceremonies for each category, the tournament booklet and vouchers for category winners. · In 2027 the opening ceremony will be held for the first time at the US Army Arena in the Movieland theme park, and a one-day Movieland ticket is included in the package. · Accommodation options are Hotel Veronello, Residenz Eden, Park Hotel, Camping San Benedetto and Camping Bella Italia. 🌊 About the area · Sirmione is a small town on a long peninsula reaching into the southern part of Lake Garda, with the Scaligero Castle and Roman remains. · Theme parks such as Gardaland and Movieland and the city of Verona are nearby and easy to visit between matches.

On the tournament page of the official website, choose the categories and accommodation package and request a free quote. 2. The organizers send a tailored quote by email. 3. After reviewing the quote, confirm the registration and pay the tournament registration fee. 4. Accommodation and meals are included in the participation package and do not need to be booked separately. 5.
