Acropolis Cup is an international youth football tournament held in Agropoli, a coastal town in the province of Salerno in the Campania region of southern Italy. It has been held every year since the first edition in 1982 with eight teams, and the 2027 edition is the 45th. At first all matches were played in Agropoli; today grounds in several towns across the Cilento area are used. The organizers say around 100 teams take part each year and that teams from 28 countries have taken part so far. Any club from a FIFA member association can enter. 📅 Schedule · The 2027 edition runs from Monday 22 to Saturday 27 March. · The tournament takes place in the week before Easter; the 2026 edition ran from 30 March to 4 April. · In 2026, a parade of participating teams was held on the Thursday of tournament week, and the closing and awards ceremony on the Saturday. · Match schedules for each category are published about one week before the tournament. 📍 Venues · Matches are played at the Raffaele Guariglia municipal stadium and other grounds in Agropoli, Capaccio and Casal Velino. · Capaccio: Tenente Baudano ground, Mario Vecchio ground · Casal Velino: Ardisani ground ⚽ Categories · The 2026 edition had 11-a-side U15 (boys and girls) and U14, 9-a-side U13, U12 and U11, and 7-a-side U11, U10, U9 and U8 categories. · Categories and birth years for 2027 are announced by the organizers in the tournament regulations. · Under the 2026 regulations, U15 and U14 teams could register up to 3 loan players from other clubs. 🏆 Teams · The organizers say teams from Albania, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Finland, the Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Morocco, Puerto Rico, Malta, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Switzerland, San Marino, Sweden, Ukraine, the United States, the Vatican, Venezuela, Hungary and Kosovo have taken part. · Professional clubs that took part in past editions include Dynamo Kyiv, Spartak Varna and Lokomotiva Trnava. 🏟 Organization · Before the tournament, teams submit their squad lists, and visiting teams also submit their accommodation lists. · Match schedules and standings are published on the official website. 🌊 About the area · Agropoli is a seaside town at the entrance to the Cilento National Park, with a hilltop old town and beaches. · Nearby Paestum has the remains of ancient Greek temples.

Entries are handled directly by the Acropolis Cup organizing committee. 1. Contact the committee by the email or phone number on the official website to express interest and indicate the categories you wish to enter. 2. Complete your entry as instructed by the committee. Clubs must be registered with a FIFA member association. 3. Submit your squad list about two weeks before the tournament; visiting teams also submit their accommodation list. 4.
