The organizer BALLFREUNDE presents the 2027 edition as BALLFREUNDE Nations Cup Augsburg and describes it as one of the largest tournament series in Europe. It is also known as the Bayern Cup. 📅 Dates The tournament runs from 7 to 9 May 2027. On Friday, arrival is from 4 pm, dinner from 5:30 pm, and the opening ceremony and matches from 7:30 pm. On Saturday and Sunday, breakfast is at 7 am, followed from 9 am by matches and the BALLFREUNDE game stations. Saturday ends with dinner at 5:30 pm and free time from 7:30 pm; on Sunday the award ceremony is at 2:30 pm, followed by departure. 📍 Venue The tournament takes place at a football facility south of Augsburg. There is no limit on the number of players, so teams can bring as many as they wish. At the award ceremony every player receives a trophy. 🏟 Organization There are four accommodation types to choose from. · Tent — right next to the pitches, within walking distance; bring your own tent, sleeping bag and mat. · School — from 10 minutes by car; each team is given a classroom or a section of a sports hall; bring your own sleeping bag and mat. · Youth hostel — from 15 minutes by car; shared rooms with breakfast at the hostel. · Hotel — from 10 minutes by car; single, double or multi-bed rooms. Most packages include half board (breakfast and dinner). Breakfast is a buffet, dinner offers a choice of three dishes each time, and water is included with meals. Vegetarian and vegan options are always available, and no pork is used at dinner. During the day, food and drinks can be bought at the venue. When teams are not playing, BALLFREUNDE game stations are available, such as a shot speed radar, football darts, target shooting and bubble soccer. 🌊 About the area In free time during the tournament, teams can visit the LEGOLAND resort or take a stadium tour of the WWK Arena in Augsburg or the Allianz Arena in Munich.

How to enter

Registration starts with the coach contacting the organizers to receive information and prices, and is then confirmed through the online registration form. The official website describes the following seven steps. Step 1 — The team and parents decide together which tournament location to attend. Step 2 — When the coach contacts the organizers, they send further information and prices, and at the same time reserve a non-binding place for 3 weeks. Step 3 — After discussion with players and parents, choose the accommodation type that suits your needs and budget. Step 4 — Submit a binding registration through the online form. Step 5 — You receive a booking confirmation after registering. The booking can be changed until 10 weeks before the tournament. Step 6 — Two weeks before the tournament, you receive the match schedule, accommodation address and other tournament information.
