Copa Catalunya is an international youth football tournament held in Blanes-Tordera on the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain. It has been held since its first edition in 1988 and is co-organized by Euro-Sportring, the local club CF Tordera and the Catalan Football Federation. In 2027, 70 teams take part in four boys' and two girls' divisions from May 18 to 20.

Copa Catalunya is organized by Euro-Sportring, which has run international youth football exchange tournaments for teams from across Europe, together with the local club CF Tordera and the Catalan Football Federation. It has been held since its first edition in 1988. 📅 Schedule The tournament takes place from May 18 to 20, 2027, right after the Pentecost holiday. Arrival days depend on the stay option. Teams on the 7-night stay check in at the Blanes Sports Arena with help from local staff, and teams on the 5-night stay arrive later. Before the matches begin, a team leader meeting is held to go over the schedule and tournament information and to introduce the organizing staff. On the afternoon of the first match day, an opening ceremony is held at Soccerland Catalunya. On the final day, placement matches and finals are followed by the awards ceremony. 📍 Venue Matches are played at Soccerland Catalunya, a large sports complex just outside the beach resort of Blanes, with 15 grass pitches nearby. There are changing rooms, parking, a first aid room and a café bar with a large shaded terrace, and spectator stands make it easy to watch and support. During the tournament, a multilingual Euro-Sportring desk is open where team leaders can handle questions and bookings. ⚽ Divisions There are four boys' divisions and two girls' divisions. · Boys — U13, U15, U17, U19 · Girls — G15, G17 🏆 Teams According to the official information, 70 teams take part. Teams from several European countries, including Germany, Italy, Spain and England, have taken part. ⏱ Format A group stage is followed by placement matches and finals. Matches are officiated by referees from the Catalan Football Federation. 🏟 Organization The awards ceremony includes the UEFA Respect award, and every participating player goes up on the podium to receive a medal. In free time, optional excursions can be booked, such as a Costa Brava boat trip or a visit to Camp Nou and Barcelona. However, Camp Nou stadium is under construction, so stadium visits are currently not possible and only the Barça Museum is open. 🌊 About the area Blanes and Tordera are on the coast north of Barcelona, where the Costa Brava meets the Costa del Maresme. Between Calella and Lloret de Mar, long sandy beaches and seaside promenades stretch along the coast, lined with cafés and restaurants. In Barcelona, you can visit the Sagrada Família, Plaça de Catalunya and La Rambla, the Gothic Quarter, Montjuïc and Park Güell.

Registration for Copa Catalunya is handled through the tournament operator, Euro-Sportring. Please follow the steps below. 1. On the Copa Catalunya page of the official Euro-Sportring website, check the age division you want to enter. Boys' divisions are U13, U15, U17 and U19; girls' divisions are G15 and G17. 2. Choose a stay option. You can choose between a 7-night and a 5-night stay, and the arrival day differs accordingly. 3. Request a quote with the 'Get a quote' button on the tournament page. The tournament code for Copa Catalunya is FY. 4. After registering, manage team details and your booking on the my.euro-sportring.com portal. 5.
