Copa Mediterraneo is an international youth football tournament held in Blanes-Tordera on the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain, first held in 2003. It is run jointly by CF Tordera, Euro-Sportring and the Catalan Football Federation, and 80 teams take part in six divisions from U11 to U17. Matches are played on 9 natural grass pitches at a sports park on the outskirts of Blanes.

Copa Mediterraneo is an international youth football tournament held in Blanes-Tordera on the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain. It was first held in 2003 and is run jointly by CF Tordera and Euro-Sportring. 📅 Schedule · The 2027 tournament has three match days, from June 13 to 15. · Teams arrive in Spain on the Saturday before the matches, check in and receive the tournament information pack, and a team leader briefing with light refreshments is held in the evening. · On the first day, group matches are played all day, and in the evening a welcome ceremony with performances and music is held at the Blanes indoor sports hall. · On the second day, group matches continue all day, and the evening is free. · On the third day, finals are played in the morning followed by an awards ceremony, and in the afternoon, at the UEFA Respect event and awards ceremony, all participants go on stage to receive medals. · The next day is free, and teams travel home the day after. 📍 Venue · It is held at a large sports park on the outskirts of the coastal resort of Blanes, with 9 natural grass pitches. · There are changing rooms, parking and a first aid post, and a café bar with a large shaded terrace. · Spectator stands give supporting families a good view of the matches. · During the tournament, a multilingual Euro-Sportring desk is open where team leaders can get information and make bookings. ⚽ Divisions · There are 6 divisions: U11, U13, U14, U15, U16 and U17. 🏆 Teams · The official tournament page lists 80 participating teams. ⏱ Format · Group matches are played on the first and second days, and finals on the morning of the third day. 🏟 Organization · The organizer and operator is CF Tordera, with the local Euro-Sportring team and the Catalan Football Federation sharing in running the tournament. · The tournament was first held in 2003. 🌊 About the area · The Costa Brava and the Costa del Maresme are well-known coastal areas of Spain stretching north of Barcelona. · Between Calella and Lloret de Mar, long sandy beaches and coastal promenades stretch along the coast, lined with cafés and restaurants. · In Barcelona, you can visit the Sagrada Família, Plaça de Catalunya and La Rambla, the Gothic Quarter, Montjuïc and Park Güell. · Spotify Camp Nou is under construction, so stadium visits are difficult and only the FC Barcelona Museum can be visited.
