The Costa Daurada Cup is an international youth football tournament held every year in two seasons, Easter (Holy Week) and summer, in Salou, Catalonia, Spain. It has run for more than 15 years, with more than 300 boys' and girls' youth teams taking part each year, and the organizers present it as the largest Easter youth football tournament in Spain. 📅 Tournament dates March 21 – March 25, 2027, five days during Holy Week. 📍 Venues Group matches are played at the Football Salou Sports Center. With more than 12 UEFA/FIFA-approved pitches at one site, the tournament is concentrated in a single facility, so there is little travel between pitches during the tournament. It has natural grass, artificial turf and hybrid grass, so teams can be assigned pitches that suit them. The G20, G17, B16 and B15 finals are played at the Nou Estadi Costa Daurada in Tarragona, and the other finals at the Football Salou Sports Center. ✈️ Airport travel time About 1 hour by car from Barcelona–El Prat International Airport (BCN). ⚽ Divisions Age groups are boys' B9–B19 and girls' G10–G20. Younger divisions play 7-a-side and the others 11-a-side, with both boys' and girls' tournaments. The organizers present the development of women's football as a core value of the tournament, which makes it relevant for girls' youth teams. 🏆 Teams More than 300 teams take part every year. Youth teams of European clubs such as Bayern Munich, Sporting CP, Rosenborg BK, RCD Espanyol and Girona FC have taken part, and the girls' divisions include teams such as Chelsea, Aston Villa and Madrid CFF. ⏱ Format FIFA and Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) rules apply. · 11-a-side: two halves of 25 minutes, size 5 ball · 7-a-side: two halves of 20 minutes, size 4 ball · Rolling substitutions (unlimited substitutions and re-entry) allowed Teams are placed in groups of four for a single round-robin group stage, followed by level-based knockout rounds; every team is guaranteed at least 4 matches. There is no third-place match, and after the finals, the winners and runners-up in each division receive trophies and medals. 🏟 Organization Medical staff are present at all pitches. Group draws and schedule changes are announced on the official website and by text message, and the official app can be used to register player lists and check schedules and results in real time. 🌊 Salou and the Costa Daurada Salou is a well-known holiday town on the Mediterranean coast of southern Catalonia. It has golden beaches, a seaside promenade and an old town, and the PortAventura World theme park is next door. A Camp Nou tour in Barcelona is also a common choice during the tournament. Players can focus on football while families stay in settled accommodation and sightseeing surroundings, making it suited to families travelling together. Partner accommodation includes several hotels, among them the 4-star resort hotel Alannia Salou.

The Costa Daurada Cup is an open international tournament that youth teams can apply for directly through the official website. 1️⃣ Enquiry and information request · Leave your preferred age group and team details on the official website · The organizers send a tailored proposal for your team · Accommodation, the number of players and staff, and arrival dates are discussed at this stage 2️⃣ Application · Complete the application form on the official registration page (costadauradacup.com/en/sign-up/) · Each division has a fixed number of places, so popular age groups may close early 3️⃣ Deposit and confirmation · A deposit of 300 euros per team is paid at application.
