Men's divisions range from +35 to +55, and there is a women's +30 division, giving players a chance to experience an international tournament after their playing careers.

Donosti Masters Cup is an international adult veterans' (masters) football tournament organized by Donosti Eventos in San Sebastián, Spain. Its first edition was held in 2014. 📅 Schedule Matches are played over two days, Friday May 28 and Saturday May 29, 2027. On the first day, teams arrive, complete age verification and registration, receive a welcome gift, and play their first matches from 4 pm to 9 pm. On the second day, the group stage is played from 9 am to 2 pm, followed by the final phase and awards ceremony from 4 pm to 9 pm. The schedule covers three days, with teams departing on Sunday May 30. 📍 Venue Matches are played at venues around San Sebastián (Donostia) in the Basque Country, Spain. The tournament office is at Paseo Mikeletegi 1, 20009 Donostia-San Sebastián. ⚽ Divisions There are five men's divisions and one women's division, with eligibility based on year of birth. · Men +35 — born on or before December 31, 1992 · Men +40 — born on or before December 31, 1987 · Men +45 — born on or before December 31, 1982 · Men +50 — born on or before December 31, 1977 · Men +55 — born on or before December 31, 1972 · Women +30 — born on or before December 31, 1997 In the men's divisions, up to 2 players per match may be up to five years younger than the division limit. 🏆 Teams The previous edition, the 12th in 2026, had more than 100 teams from 8 countries and 252 matches. ⏱ Format FIFA and Spanish Football Federation rules apply. Teams play a single round-robin in groups of 4 before the final phase. Group winners and runners-up go to the Champions league, and 3rd and 4th place go to the B league. Points: 3 for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss. Matches are 7-a-side, except the +55 division, which is 8-a-side. Matches last 25 minutes with no half-time; in the final phase, they can be shortened to 20 minutes if both teams agree before the match and inform the referee. Ties in the group stage are decided by head-to-head result and goal average, overall goal average, fair play points, goals scored and a computer draw, in that order. Drawn matches in the final phase go straight to a penalty shoot-out with 3 kicks per team, with no extra time. 🏟 Organization The entry fee is 55 euros per player and 25 euros per coach, VAT included. The fee covers tournament entry, a commemorative T-shirt, pitch rental, referees, medical support at the venue, water and fruit, player ID wristbands, trophies and medals for winners and runners-up, and operating costs. Injury insurance is not included. A dedicated tournament app shows your team's schedule and results, and many matches are streamed live on the official YouTube channel. It is run alongside Donosti Cup, the youth tournament organized by the same organizer. 🌊 About the area San Sebastián is a city known for Basque food. Along with the tournament, you can visit cider (sidra) houses and pintxos bars, and enjoy the coastal scenery and sightseeing.
