Jugones Cup Semana Santa is a youth football tournament held during Holy Week on the Costa Blanca, in the province of Alicante, Spain. Centred on Benidorm, it uses grounds in several towns in the Marina Baixa and Marina Alta areas and is run as a package including accommodation and meals. 📅 Dates The previous edition in 2026 ran for four days, from Thursday, April 2 to Sunday, April 5. · Thursday: hotel check-in from 4 p.m., welcome by the organisers and souvenir handout, dinner provided · Friday: preliminary matches (morning and afternoon) · Saturday: Gold, Silver and Bronze round matches (morning and afternoon) · Sunday: final round and awards ceremony; check-out at 10 a.m., with lunch provided The dates of the 2027 edition have not yet been posted on the official website, so the information below is based on the 2026 edition. The tournament is held around Holy Week, so its dates move considerably from year to year, and the 2027 dates shown are provisional and will be confirmed once officially announced. 📍 Venue Matches are split between grounds in five towns: Benidorm, L'Alfàs del Pi, Calp, Villajoyosa and Altea. ⚽ Divisions Boys' and girls' competitions are run in 7-a-side and 11-a-side. Divisions are based on year of birth. · Boys 7-a-side: Prebenjamín (born 2019 and 2018), Benjamín 1st year (2017), Benjamín 2nd year (2016), Alevín 1st year (2015), Alevín 2nd year (2014) · Boys 11-a-side: Infantil 1st year (2013), Infantil 2nd year (2012), Cadete 1st year (2011), Cadete 2nd year (2010), Juvenil (2009 to 2007) · Girls 7-a-side: Alevín (born 2015 and 2014), Infantil (2013 and 2012) · Girls 11-a-side: Cadete (2011 and 2010), Juvenil/Senior (no age limit) Up to 2 second-year players may be registered in a first-year division. ⏱ Format Under the tournament rules, each team is guaranteed at least 4 matches. After the preliminary round, teams are split by results into Gold, Silver and Bronze rounds for the finals. The match schedule is published one week before the tournament, and results and news are provided through a dedicated mobile app. 🏟 Organisation The organiser is JJ Eventos. · A match committee, monitors and volunteers are present at the grounds. · All players receive a medal, a drawstring bag and a sports water bottle, and coaches receive a separate gift. · Players are issued wristband accreditation, colour-coded by year of birth. · Bottled water is provided to players and coaches during matches, and families and companions can watch all matches free of charge. · Trophies are awarded to the winners and runners-up of each division. · Sports accident insurance covers injuries during matches, including initial treatment at a local private hospital. · A bus service between hotels and grounds is provided to teams that request it; ask separately about prices and conditions. 🌊 About the area The Costa Blanca is one of eastern Spain's well-known holiday coasts, where players and accompanying families can relax on the beach between matches.

How to enter

Jugones Cup Semana Santa is run as a package in which the tournament entry fee and accommodation are settled together. Contact the organiser, JJ Eventos, directly to apply and book rooms at the same time. 1. Request entry and room booking by phone at 679 59 81 59 or by email at info@jjeventos.es. 2. Pay the team registration fee of 150 euros to secure your entry and a place for one person. 3. The player fee starts at 295 euros and includes 3 nights in a shared room, full board and tournament services. The companion fee starts at 280 euros; ask about prices and room availability, which depend on the hotel. 4. To choose a specific hotel, prepay 500 euros per team. This amount is deducted from the final payment; without prepayment, teams are assigned one of the hotels still available at the time of their first payment (500 euros or more). Companions who wish to choose a hotel prepay 50 euros per person. 5. Transfer the full balance to the Banco Santander account at least 30 days before the tournament starts. The account is IBAN ES57 0049 5951 3424 1632 8745, account holder J J EVENTOS. If the full amount is not paid by the deadline, the hotel originally chosen cannot be guaranteed. 6. Write the club name in the transfer reference. If a club pays separately per team, include the club name and division/year; if individual players pay, include the club name, division/year and the player's name. 7. At hotel check-in, each club presents valid credit card details as a security deposit against damage. This is a hotel requirement, and check-in may be refused without it. 📌 Summary of the entry process · Apply by phone or email → pay the 150-euro team registration fee → prepay 500 euros if choosing a hotel → transfer the balance at least 30 days before the tournament → present a card as deposit at hotel check-in · Fees: team registration 150 euros / players from 295 euros / companions from 280 euros · There is no cancellation fee up to 60 days before the tournament; after that, 40% is charged from 59 to 30 days before, 60% from 29 to 15 days before, and 100% from 14 days before.
