Oranje Cup is an international youth football tournament for boys and girls, organized by KOMM MIT International of Germany in Ommen, Netherlands. The 2027 tournament is the 25th edition. 📅 Schedule The 2027 tournament takes place from May 27 to 30 over the Corpus Christi holiday, with a 3-night stay. The registration deadline is April 16, 2027. On the first day, teams arrive and check in at the Slagharen theme park, followed by the opening ceremony, the opening match and the first group matches. On the second day, group matches continue and a pool party is held for all participants. On the third day, the final round and play-offs are played, followed by the closing and awards ceremonies, and teams travel home on the fourth day. 📍 Venue Matches are played at the large FC Ommen sports complex in Ommen, Netherlands. It has natural grass and artificial turf pitches, with changing rooms and showers at the venue. ⚽ Divisions There are five boys' divisions: U15, U13 (7-a-side), U11 (7-a-side), U10 (7-a-side) and U9 (7-a-side). There are two girls' divisions: U15 (7-a-side) and U13 (7-a-side). 🏆 Teams The organizers state that about 55 teams take part on average. Expected participating countries are Germany, Croatia, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, France, Sweden and Austria. ⏱ Format All divisions except boys' U15 are played 7-a-side. Group matches are played first, followed by the final round and play-offs. 🏟 Organization Accommodation is at the SLAGHAREN theme park, about 20 km from Ommen. You can choose from 'Wigwam Deluxe' tents, 'Cowboy Cottages' and 'Hacienda' bungalows for up to 6 people. All accommodation has cooking facilities, a fridge and a private bathroom. Meals are half board, with breakfast and dinner included, and a snack bar run by the host club is available at the venue. During the stay, about 40 attractions in the theme park can be used free of charge (excluding Aqua Mexicana). There is no shuttle bus between the accommodation and the venue, so teams must arrange their own local transport. 🌊 About the area Outside the matches, you can visit the Slagharen theme park, Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen, Preston Palace in Almelo, Giethoorn, known as the 'Venice of the North', and a karting track.
