Ties are broken by goal difference, goals scored and head-to-head result, and then by drawing lots. · Drawn semi-finals and finals are decided by penalty shoot-outs with 3 takers per team. · There is no limit on substitutions, substituted players may return, and substitutions are made at the halfway line after informing the referee. · Matches follow FIFA rules and Football Association of Iceland rules and are played on natural or artificial grass. · Shin guards are mandatory, and screw-in studs are not allowed. · Two referees are assigned per match and three for finals. 🏟 Organization · There are three participation packages, Bronze, Silver and Gold, which can be chosen after team registration. · Bronze costs 32,990 ISK and includes tournament entry, tournament events and a barbecue in the family park. · Silver costs 42,990 ISK and adds lunch and dinner at the Hilton hotel. · Gold costs 52,990 ISK and includes all meals and accommodation in a local school. · School accommodation is in classrooms of city schools arranged by the tournament, and lunch and dinner are served at the Hilton Reykjavík Nordica hotel. · ReyCup Senior, held in June under the same name, is a 7-a-side tournament for adults aged 25 and over and is a separate event. · Besides the matches, there are events such as a city tour, a pool party, a barbecue and a dance night. · The organizers help with Icelandair flight bookings, and there are direct flights from major North American cities including Boston and New York. 🌊 About the area · Reykjavík is close to some of Iceland's best-known natural sights, such as geysers, volcanoes, glaciers and the Blue Lagoon.
