The Costa Daurada Cup Summer is an international youth football tournament held in Salou, in the province of Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain. It is organized by Costa Daurada Cup, S.L.U., which also runs an Easter edition, so the tournament takes place twice a year. 📅 Tournament dates · The tournament runs for four days, from 27 to 30 June 2027. · On day one, teams arrive, dinner is served and the opening ceremony takes place at 7 pm on the Salou beach promenade. · Day two is for group matches. · On day three, group matches continue in the morning, followed by play-offs in the afternoon. · Day four features the finals and the award ceremony, ending with lunch. 📍 Venues · Matches are played at the Football Salou Sports Center in Salou, which has 12 11-a-side pitches. · Eleven of them meet UEFA and FIFA standards, with natural, artificial and hybrid grass pitches. · The finals are held at the Nou Estadi Costa Daurada, where the G-Open, G17, B19 and B16 titles are decided. ⚽ Categories · Boys — B19 (born 2008 or later), B16 (born 2011), B15 (born 2012), B14 (born 2013) and B13 (born 2014) play 11-a-side; B12, B11 and B10 play 7-a-side. · Girls — G-Open (born 2005 or later), G17 (born 2010 or later), G14 (born 2013 or later) and the 7-a-side G12 (born 2015 or later). · Girls may also play in boys' matches in B16 and younger. ⏱ Match format · The tournament follows FIFA and Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) rules. · Teams play a single round-robin in groups of four. · After the group stage, teams move into three play-off levels: Gold, Silver and Bronze. · Matches last 2×25 minutes for 11-a-side and 2×20 minutes for 7-a-side, with a break of up to 5 minutes. · Up to 25 players may be used per match in 11-a-side and up to 18 in 7-a-side; substitutions are unlimited and substituted players may re-enter. · If a play-off match ends in a draw, each team takes three penalties, followed by alternating kicks until there is a winner. 🏟 Tournament operations · The tournament is run by Costa Daurada Cup, S.L.U. · Player lists must be submitted no later than 20 days before the tournament starts. · Insurance covers players registered no later than 30 days before the tournament. · During the tournament, schedules and results can be checked in the official app. 🌊 About the area Salou is about one hour from Barcelona and easy to reach. Registration for the Costa Daurada Cup Summer starts on the sign-up page of the official website and is done per team. 1. Register your team on the sign-up page of the official website (costadauradacup.com/en/sign-up/). 2. Registration closes 30 days before the tournament starts. 3. After registering, manage your team details and other information in the dedicated admin portal (admin.verano.costadauradacup.com). 4. Submit the player list no later than 20 days before the tournament starts. 5. To be covered by the insurance, players must be registered no later than 30 days before the tournament. 6.
