JugonesCup Denia is a youth football tournament held by JJ Eventos in the Marina Alta area of Alicante, Spain. The official name of the previous edition was JugonesCup Verano, and it is a separate summer tournament from the Semana Santa Denia tournament the same organizer holds in spring. The organizer's official materials are only available up to the previous edition, so the information below is based on the previous edition (June 2026); 2027 dates and conditions will be confirmed once announced. 📅 Tournament dates · The previous edition took place in late June over 4 days and 3 nights. · On the first day, teams arrived at their hotels from 4 p.m. for registration and welcome gifts from the organizers, and dinner was included. · On the second day, qualifying round matches were played in the morning and afternoon. · On the third day, Gold, Silver and Bronze round matches were played in the morning and afternoon. · On the last day, the finals and award ceremony took place; rooms had to be vacated by 10 a.m., but lunch that day was included. 📍 Venue · Matches are played at sports facilities in Dénia, Ondara, Pedreguer, Beniarbeig, Pego, Gata de Gorgos, Xàbia and El Verger in the Marina Alta area of Alicante. ⚽ Categories · 7-a-side boys: Prebenjamín (born 2019 and 2018), Benjamín 1st year (born 2017), Benjamín 2nd year (born 2016), Alevín 1st year (born 2015), Alevín 2nd year (born 2014). · 7-a-side girls: Alevín (born 2015 and 2014) and Infantil (born 2013 and 2012). · 11-a-side boys: Infantil 1st year (born 2013), Infantil 2nd year (born 2012), Cadete 1st year (born 2011), Cadete 2nd year (born 2010), Juvenil (born 2009–2007). · 11-a-side girls: Cadete (born 2011 and 2010) and Juvenil/Senior (no age limit). · Birth years are based on the previous edition, and up to two 2nd-year players may play in 1st-year categories. ⏱ Match format · After the qualifying round, teams are split into Gold, Silver and Bronze rounds, with the finals on the last day. · Under the tournament rules, every team is guaranteed at least four matches. · The fixtures are published one week before the tournament starts, and results and news are shared through the tournament's own mobile app. 🏟 Organization · The amounts below are based on the previous edition. The fees are a team registration fee of 150 euros and from 295 euros per player; the player fee includes 3 nights of full-board accommodation in shared rooms and all services. · The fee for family members and companions starts at 280 euros per person, with prices and room availability depending on the hotel chosen. · To choose a specific hotel in advance, a deposit of 500 euros per team and 50 euros per companion is required, which is deducted from the final amount. The balance is paid no later than 30 days before the tournament starts. · There is no cancellation fee up to 60 days before; 40 percent is charged from 59 to 30 days before, 60 percent from 29 to 15 days before, and 100 percent from 14 days before. · Accommodation is in 3-star or 4-star hotels, resorts and aparthotels with full-board buffets, and bottled water is free at meals. In the previous edition, hotels such as the 4-star Daniya Denia, the 3-star Port Denia and the 3-star Ona Ogisaka aparthotel were used. · At check-in, hotels require valid credit card details from each club as a damage deposit, and the whole club is responsible for any damage. · A bus service between hotels and venues is available to teams that request it; prices and conditions must be requested separately. · Players receive a medal, a bag, a sports water bottle and an accreditation wristband by year of birth, and coaches also receive a gift. Trophies are awarded to the winners and runners-up of each category. · Sports insurance covering injuries during matches is included, extending to initial treatment at a local private hospital. · Monitors and volunteers are present on site, and a competition committee runs the matches. 🌊 About the area · Marina Alta is a coastal area in northern Alicante, where players and accompanying families can relax on the beach between matches.
How to enter
For JugonesCup Denia, registration and hotel booking are handled together. Official 2027 information has not yet been released, so the steps below are based on the previous edition. 1. Contact the organizer JJ Eventos by email (info@jjeventos.es) or phone (+34 679 59 81 59) about participation and room bookings. 2. Pay the team registration fee of 150 euros to secure your place. 3. To choose a specific hotel, also pay a reservation deposit of 500 euros per team, and 50 euros per companion. Without the deposit, teams are assigned one of the hotels still available when their first payment of 500 euros or more is received. 4. Pay by bank transfer to a Banco Santander account. In the payer name, write the club name if the club pays at once; the club name plus category and year if paying per team; or the club name, category, year and player's name if a player pays directly. 5. Pay the full amount no later than 30 days before the tournament starts. If the deadline is missed, the hotel originally chosen is not guaranteed and teams are assigned to a hotel still available at the time of full payment. 6. On arrival day, check in at the hotel after 4 p.m. and receive your welcome gifts. 📌 Summary of the process Enquiry → pay the team registration fee of 150 euros → pay the hotel deposit → bank transfer → full payment 30 days before → on-site check-in There is no cancellation fee up to 60 days before; after that, 40 percent to 100 percent is charged depending on timing.
