The 2027 tournament is the 19th edition. 📅 Tournament dates · The 2027 tournament runs from June 25 to 29, over 5 days and 4 nights. · Arrive in Malgrat de Mar by noon on June 25 to check in; a coaches' meeting is held in the evening. · On June 26, after the team entrance and opening ceremony at the Pineda de Mar stadium, the opening match and group stage begin. · On the morning of June 27, the group stage continues, with optional sightseeing during the day and a KOMM MIT closing event in the evening. · On June 28, the quarter-finals and semi-finals are played in the morning and the finals in the afternoon, ending with the award ceremony and closing fireworks. · Teams depart on the morning of June 29. 📍 Venue · Matches are spread across artificial turf pitches in Pineda de Mar, Arenys de Munt, Sant Vicenç de Montalt, Sant Pol, Santa Susanna, Malgrat de Mar and Mataró. · The opening ceremony and opening match take place at the Pineda de Mar stadium. ✈️ Airport transfers · The KOMM MIT transfer service is provided only to teams that request it. · Teams arranging their own flights must arrange their own local transport during the tournament. ⚽ Categories · Boys U19, U17, U15, U13 · Boys U11 — played 7-a-side. · Girls U18 🏆 Participating teams · The organizers expect around 70 teams on average. · They state that teams are expected from countries such as Egypt, Italy, Spain, France, Tunisia, Costa Rica, Slovenia and Cameroon. ⏱ Match format · After the group stage, teams go on to the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals. · Only the boys' U11 category is played 7-a-side. 🏟 Organization · Accommodation is in holiday hotels in Calella, Pineda de Mar, Santa Susanna, Malgrat de Mar, Blanes and Lloret de Mar, and in some cases apartments are assigned. · Rooms are triple or quadruple rooms with shower and toilet, and 4 nights of accommodation with all meals are included. · Meals are buffets serving Spanish and international cuisine. 🌊 About the area · The Costa de Barcelona-Maresme, where the tournament is held, is a stretch of Mediterranean coast northeast of Barcelona lined with holiday towns. · During the tournament, optional sightseeing programs are also available during the day.
